Bye Bye Birdie rehearsals this week will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30-4:30, for cast and crew. Please check your calendars to see if you have any additional rehearsals this week. Please See Mrs. Viera or Mrs. Laflamme with any questions about the schedule.
Important reminder on early dismissals: Any student who is going to be dismissed must turn in a note to the main office the morning of the dismissal. The note must be signed by a parent/guardian, and must state the time and specific reason for the dismissal. Dismissals via a phone call can only be accepted for emergency situations. All dismissals due to illness must go through the school nurse. Students must come down to the main office at the time of their dismissal and sign out.
Grade 8:
Mrs. Mongeau: No Homework!
Mrs. Bailey: Lesson 14 vocabulary exercises due for correction tomorrow. All students need 20 flash cards for review also.
Mrs. Rydbeck: All classes: No homework. Please study for the midterm exam next week.
Mrs Reed: Midterm is this Friday. Homework tonight handout on Ch 3 and Ch 4. Start to look through the outline I gave you and review your old quizzes and tests.
Mrs. Girard: Finish verb conjugations pages from Packet 2 using color. Study vocabulary pages 200/201 for quiz on Friday.
Mrs. Schaefer: 8th grade Directed Study-Complete all Science flash cards and study for Science Mid-Term Exam. Students will need to have flash cards done if they are to take part in an extra study session tomorrow.

Schauerman: MATH - PAGE 215 & 216 # 1 - 4, 11-22; SCIENCE - Complete the "How to Use a Microscope" lab report --all sections, all the questions. Begin sudying for the microscope quiz which you will take on Friday.
Mrs. Weldon: All Classes: Vocabulary Lesson 13 : All exercises and note cards: Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry—Finish reading Chapter 3: P. 11--# 1 – 10.
Mrs. Girard: Make a collage of “En mi mochila hay…” (In my backpack there is….) and use a picture and the vocabulary word of all school supplies that may be in your backpack. Presentation counts—you may use clip art, pictures from magazine or newspaper, or hand drawn pictures. Be sure you use accurate spelling.
Ms. DiFruscio: I am very pleased with the projects on Judaism/the Jewish way of life that I have seen so far today. Nice Work. No Homework!
Mrs. Hickey- All Classes: Students are to do the first sheet(front and back) of the packet they received. Students should use pages 1-19 (of their Animals text) for the front, and pages 18-22 for the back of the first sheet. This assignment is due tomorrow.

Mrs. Harrington: Science Homework. Due Wednesday—watch a news report in preparation for Friday’s showcase.
Mrs. White: Read 20 minutes and record in log; D Block-log and worksheet due 1/15.
Mrs. Lyon: The sixth grade computer students are going to wrap up the term with a presentation on Internet Safety from Officer Derek Jones. The students are emailing him questions and on the last day of class Officer Jones will be coming in to answer the questions and give them tips about staying safe on-line. I am so proud of the students they have done extremely well with the keyboarding many of the students have completed all of the lessons for alphabetic keyboarding and continued on to the keyboard skill building. I hope that each student feels accomplished no matter what level they reached. If you have any questions at any time concerning technology feel free to email me.
