All students took the last quiz on mitosis, heredity and genetics today. I will return it Monday. Students also got back the last lab report of the year- “Taking a Class Survey”. This lab report counted 2 times toward their lab average. The students are expected to have it signed and returned Monday, as usual. That’s all!
DIFRUSCIO: I am collecting textbooks tomorrow for E&F blocks and Monday for A&B blocks. Also please return the CED roms you signed out if you have one at home.

I will begin to collect books on Friday so please bring in your books.

Mrs. Fulton’s 6th grade: Any student who has not completed “My Nutritional Guide to Good Health,” should complete the package at home and turn in as soon as possible. We have devoted much class time to this project, and it will have a significant impact on grades for 4th quarter.

ALL JV BASEBALL PLAYERS: There will be an end of the year meeting this Wednesday, June 17th, at 2:30 in the Health Room. Please bring your clean uniform with you, if you haven’t returned it in already. See Coach Daron if you can’t make it to the meeting.
Anyone interested in running cross country next fall should attend a brief meeting with Mr. Masys in the Health room after school on Tuesday, June 16.
MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARBOOKS ARE BACK ON SALE.
we have a limited number of extras for those students who did not pre order and will take orders on a first come first serve basis. The last orders will be taken Friday.
Yearbooks are distributed in the middle school on Monday June 22.
Students need to bring in a check (in an envelope with the child’s name and homeroom teacher on it) for $24 to Georgetown Middle School. These should be brought their homeroom teachers.

Important Note for Graduation Dismissal:
We are not encouraging dismissals for the completion ceremony however if you feel it is imperative that your child get dismissed the following procedure is required:
No phone call dismissals will be accepted. Notes must be in to the main office by Friday, June 19. No dismissals before 11:00 am. No exceptions!
For children in grades 7 and 10, the state mandated Body Mass Index (BMI) data report will be enclosed and mailed home with student report cards. BMI is an indicator of health and development and simply a screening tool to measure growth over time. It is not a diagnosis. If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Riccio, School Nurse Leader at 978-352-5790, ext. 532.
**Note to all parents and students that there are still some outstanding balances on School Lunch Accounts? All accounts must be paid in full as soon as possible. ***

A and B blocks: the 3 Analyze and Conclude questions from the “Take a Class Survey” Lab are due tomorrow. You got an extra day because of the Olympics today. The lab will count 2 times toward your lab average.
All students: As announced last week, the final quiz of the year will be this Thursday (June 18th). It will cover mitosis, heredity, genetics.etc… All of the information we have been talking about in class. You should study the notes we took in class, as well as the 2 mitosis sheets and Punnett squares worksheet. Don’t forget the pages in the book that correspond to the information.

Fieldtrip to Cedardale tomorrow, bring a bag lunch or you can purchase lunch at the camp! Bring towel, bathingsuit, sunscreen, hat and money to play mini golf!
