Step 1: Make a prediction of what will happen to a straw and plugs after you remove them from the freezer.Step 2: Materials: 1 straw, 2 small pieces of clay (plugs)Step 3: Procedure: take one end of your straw and plug it up with a piece of clay. Next, fill the straw with water and plug up the other end with the clay. Place the straw in the freezer overnight. The next morning take the straw out of the freezer and record what happened to the straw and plugs. Due: Wednesday—bring in a small amount of soil from your yard (if possible)

TONIGHT- Students in all classes are completing the page 42 Earthworm Responses lab report. We completed the bar graph in class and went over the 4 Analyze and Conclude questions. These are on the bottom of the Lab Report Formal sheet given to the students. We talked about how to answer the questions in class, using the bar graph information to support the conclusions. This lab report is due tomorrow. It counts 4 times, due to the amount of class time we have spent on the lab.
