You will need to tell me what your project idea will be by this Thursday so I can make copies of the packet you want to work on.
The project is slated to begin next week (Dec. 22), and will continue to be completed in both the classroom and as homework through-out the week of Jan. 5-Jan. 12. You will not be required to do any homework during the holiday vacation but, as always, I encourage you to take an active role in your learning so you may want to complete some of the research questions as well as locating the materials you will need to make your model. Mrs. Lyon: The 6th grade students in Computers are learning to use email. As part of the lesson they are also learning how to be safe online. An important aspect of being safe on line is identifying a trusted adult that students can share concerns or ask questions. Computer6 students have selected 3 trusted adults; one from home, one from school, and one other. An adult is someone over twenty-one. If your student is in Computers their home work assignment is to deliver their “Trusted Adult” thank you cards.
