The Georgetown Music Parents are gearing up for one of it’s biggest fund-raisers of the year. We are asking for monetary donations to be used to make up baskets to be auctioned off.
The funds raised provide field trips, workshops, uniforms, instruments, scholarships and so much more.
If you wish to donate, please send money/check made out to Georgetown Music Parents to your child’s homeroom teacher or donations can be dropped off at the school store on Mon, Wed, Thurs.

I suggested to students that if they wanted the extra credit points counted by the time progress reports come out (Teachers must enter progress grades on Monday, October 6th), then I needed to have the extra credit by Friday, October 3rd. Otherwise, they have until the marking period closes to complete the extra credit. More will be offered, as appropriate, after this quiz. FYI- We are beginning our study of adaptations, mimicry, camouflage, and symbiosis. This is a really interesting section of the book!

Updates and Homework for 9/29:
All Grades:
Attention all Middle School Parents!!! We need your help. The first Middle School dance of the year will be held this Friday, October 3. We would like to provide a concession stand with snacks & beverages that the students can purchase for a nominal fee. Proceeds raised will be used throughout the year to fund various Middle School activities/purchases.
We are looking for donations of baked goods (brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc....), packaged snacks (chips, pretzels, etc...), candy, ice, pizza, bottled beverages--water, juice, soda (will be poured into cups). You may drop off your donations on Friday at the school by 5:30 p.m.

Attention all Middle School Parents!!! We need your help. The first Middle School dance of the year will be held this Friday, October 3. We would like to provide a concession stand with snacks & beverages that the students can purchase for a nominal fee. Proceeds raised will be used throughout the year to fund various Middle School activities/purchases.
We are looking for donations of baked goods (brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc....), packaged snacks (chips, pretzels, etc...), candy, ice, pizza, bottled beverages--water, juice, soda (will be poured into cups). You may drop off your donations on Friday at the school by 5:30 p.m.
