Updates and Homework for 5/22:

All Students:
PROGRESS REPORTS ARE COMING HOME TODAY WITH STUDENTS!!!

Mrs. Fulton: Don’t forget to sign up for the after school Cooking Class on Thursday, May 28th! We will be making Salads and Smoothies.
The class is free and should end by 3:30. Space is limited, so sign up with Mrs. Fulton soon!

Updates and Homework for 5/21:

All Students:
Attention all parents: Principal, Peter Lucia is in the process of conducting initial interviews and developing a pool of finalists for the Middle School Assistant Principal position. Mr. Lucia would like to bring these finalists to the school on May 26th to meet a group of teachers, students and parents. Feedback from these groups will be extremely valuable to him as he makes his final choice. Mrs. Fulton’s After School Cooking Club will be meeting again next Thursday, May 28th from 2:15- 3:30!
Thanks to the Healthy Choices Grant, we will be meeting at no cost to prepare a yummy salad buffet (both fruit and veggie salads).See Mrs. Fulton to sign up soon, as there will be a limit of 24 students.

Mrs. Hickey-
Blocks A and B have Procedures 1,2,3,and 4 of the Activity on page 106-107 to complete for homework. A and B blocks were long today, so the students had time after the amphibian and reptile quiz to start the activity. Many students completed the procedures in class and do not have it for homework. Blocks E and F do not have homework tonight. Also, all students who took the fish quiz have now had it returned.

Schauerman: MATH - Quiz corrections due on Tuesday. B - block - Reteach 8-4 # 1 - 5 odd Practice 8-4 # 4 - 17. SCIENCE - No homework.

Grade 6:

Updates and Homework for 5/19:

All Students:
MCAS testing tomorrow: 6th grade will be finishing session 2 of math and grade 8 will begin session 1 of the Science and Engineering test.

Update from Mrs. Lyon:
Computer6 students are using their keying data they have collected in Excel to write a summary of their progress in Microsoft Word, although those students who have not learned all the keys yet are hand writing the report.
Computer7 students just completed PowerPoint’s and presentations on Internet Safety.
Computer8 students are in the process of learning to use Microsoft Word to type a properly formatted letter. They are responding to a letter I received from a student in Wisconsin.

Grade 8:

MCAS testing for this week: Grade 6 will start Math Session 1 tomorrow, session 2 on Wednesday. Grade 8 will start Science/Engineering test Wednesday (session 1) and finish session 2 on Thursday.
