Students have been given a “Design a Fish” activity. Their homework is to choose 6 parts of a fish from the activity and design their own fish. The rough draft is due tomorrow and is worth 20% of the activity grade. I will give directions for the final copy tomorrow, as well as the written piece of the assignment.
ALSO: Students got back several assignments today. During quarter 4, I have asked that ALL assignments, class work and homework included, be signed if the grade is below a 70%. Some students have “spring fever” and are on vacation in terms of completing class work and homework thoughtfully. I want to keep parents aware of their progress in these areas as much as possible during quarter 4. Students are given class time to record each assignment and the grade they earned as well. I hope this is helpful! Thank you.
