Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, Jan. 28 during middle and high school lunches (about 10:15-11:30 and 12:15-1) and in the lobby from 2:15-3:15, each day until Wednesday, Feb. 4. It is highly recommended to purchase tickets ahead of time, as the play may very well sell out. Seats will be assigned.

Grade 7:
Mrs. Hickey- ALL CLASSES: The students are coming home with 2 assignments and a parent note. One assignment was the quiz on animal cells they took last Tuesday, January 13th. The other assignment is their first lab on using the microscope. This lab counted 2 times toward their lab average. The note gives some background information about the quiz and notes about the microscope work. We talked about how to get a final average on the microscope lab in class, by averaging the 3 numerical “mini-grades” and adding 5 points for a check-plus on the drawings, or subtracting 5 points for a check-minus. Those students who would like extra credit to pull up the animal cell quiz MUST return the parent note signed by tomorrow to get the extra credit, otherwise, the note is not due until Friday. Having the note signed DOES count as an assignment however. I am really pushing kids to be more responsible about communicating with their parents about their work. Finally, the students took a quiz on symmetry today. I hope to have it corrected by tomorrow, but it will definitely be returned by Friday, the last day of the marking period. I hope this information has been helpful.
