Middle School Mini Golf Tournament: the Georgetown PTA is sponsoring an indoor Mini Golf tournament on Saturday,November 15th at the GMHS. The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. for all Georgetown Middle High School students. To participate in the tournament please contact Kathy Boyd (kboyd12@comcast.net) or Beth Willis (bethwillis@verizon.net). We will be opening up the golf course to the public 4:30 to 6:30. A concession stand will be open to purchase hot dogs, beverages and candy. We are looking for donations of packaged snacks (chips, popcorn, cookies candy) & soda & bottled water. Any donations can be dropped off at the gym on Saturday morning.
Announcement: Winter Sports Sign-ups (Basketball, Cheering, & Wrestling) will take place on Thursday, November 13, in the Café from 6 to 7:30p.m.Also, Ski Club sign-ups this Thursday Nov. 13th 6pm-7:30 pm in the M/H School cafe. This is a long term assignment…no excuses for missing homework!!!!!! Classes are also doing research for their persuasive essays which are due on Tuesday, Nov. 25th. Don’t forget the monthly book report which is in the genre of science fiction and due December 1st!!!!! Students have been given many choices for the format of their individual reports. Ask you student to show you the option he/she chose!!!!!!!
