Announcement: Winter Sports Sign-ups (Basketball, Cheering, & Wrestling) will take place on Thursday, November 13, in the Café from 6 to 7:30p.m.
Also, Ski Club sign-ups this Thursday Nov. 13th 6pm-7:30 pm in the M/H School cafe. Any questions contact Sharon at mstjaa.lee@comcast.net Ski Club will run Tuesdays starting Jan. 6th for 6 weeks.
See Mrs. Fulton to sign up for another “Cooking Club” event this Thursday, Nov. 13th after school from 2:15- 3:30. Open to all Middle School Students, however space is limited, so sign up soon. We will be making Banana Split Pizza and Fruit Smoothies. Make some fun snacks and get more fruit in your diet!

Grade 7:
Mrs. Hickey’s classes: F block got back 1 or 2 papers about photosynthesis. They do not have grades on them. Students have been given the opportunity to correct their mistakes. All Classes: There will be a quiz on photosynthesis on Thursday. I told the students about it last week, and originally had it planned for Wednesday. I changed it to Thursday as the students have a Social Studies quiz on Wednesday. We have already discussed what the quiz will cover and what to study, but students will receive a study guide on Wednesday. They already have a special packet to study from, as the Environmental Science book does not cover photosynthesis in depth. Also, students will have their reports returned to them today or Wednesday. The grade for the report went towards their quarter 1 grade in Science.
Schauerman: SCIENCE - There will be a quiz on photosynthesis on Wednesday. Please study for the quiz, using your Study Guide & reading packet; MATH - Practice 3-8 Worksheet # 1 - 16.
Ms. DiFruscio: STUDY FOR EGYPT TEST THIS WEEK. Wed- part 1 of test: Vocab (study hint: list of terms: 1st 4 columns on study guide- students should have these in their vocabulary assignment and C1S2 Guided Reading page 1) and writing based on Key Concept #2 letters B& C from Study Guide. (study hint: use info from all three guided readings in relation to: government; pharaoh; pharaohs & religion)

KC# 1- use notes from C2S2 guided reading (especially chart on back)
KC# 2A- c2s1 guided reading and in class notes on division of dynasties
KC# 3- use in class chart/notes from 11/5-7 as a summary to study

KC# 6- use notes from class dated 10/6 or 7

Mrs. Husak: A – grade sheet filled out and signed by parent to inform them of your math grade for term 1; B – grade sheet filled out and signed by parent to inform them of your math grade for term 1- complete portfolio entry slip if you did not finish it in class – page 147-148 # 2-32 evens – Quiz Thursday on sections 3.1-3.4; E – see B; F – grade sheet filled out and signed by parent to inform them of your math grade for term 1- complete portfolio entry slip if you did not finish it in class – page 132 # 8-28 even, Chapter 3 Test Friday – Don’t forget Wrap up could be completed for an extra 5 points on the test and it helps you prepare for the test.
