From Mr. Kaminsky: Middle School Jazz band will have it's first meeting/rehearsal this Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 in the band room. All students who intend to play in Jazz Band should sign up for it in the main office if you have not already.
Grade 8:

Mrs. Bailey: All classes will be writing lesson 5 words 5x each, and making flash cards with pictures. Language tests in spelling and vocabulary will now be given every two weeks, based on two lesson.
Grade 7:
Mrs. Hickey’s classes: Tomorrow, students will get back the quiz they took last Friday (10/17), on Chapter 1, section 3. The only homework students have for the week is the research report on a symbiotic relationship or animal adaptations that is due this Friday, (10/20) Today I reminded students that if the report ( or rough draft or paragraph templates) was turned in early, I would check it for content, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The report would be returned to the student so they could make corrections before the final report is turned in. Also, as the outline indicated, the students receive 5 bonus points for having it signed by a parent or guardian before the final report is turned in.
Mrs. Schauerman: SCIENCE - Chapter 1 Test tomorrow, study using your study guide and refer to pages 39-41 for some practice questions. MATH - E block - page 75 # 1-15 & pg. 114 # 7 - 15.
