Updates and Homework for 2/13:

All Students:
There will be a mandatory Preseason Baseball Meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 right after school in the café.

SPRING SPORTS SIGN-UPS are scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Coaches meetings from 6 to 6:30 p.m., sign-ups in the café from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Forms are available on the table in front of the main office. If you are interested in playing a spring sport, please come to the coaches meeting and sign up on Wednesday, March 4.

Announcing the 2/26/09 second meeting of…..GeorgetownCARES, a substance abuse prevention coalition *Healthier decisions, healthier lives, healthier futures* Do you know how to protect your family from dangerous substance abuse? We want to help our children by reducing the rates of alcohol, drug and tobacco use among Georgetown youth. By working together as a community, we can do this. Keynote speaker: Police Chief Mulligan. Agenda: keynote speaker: questions & answers, updates on school resource officer funding; summary of Teen Drug Recognition, a community prevention approach; Addiction in the family: What is the risk and how can we reduce it?
Meeting: February 26th, 7-9pm, @ the Penn Brook School library.

YEARBOOKS: Attention ALL students: Do not miss out on the opportunity to purchase your copy of the 2009 yearbook. The price is $65.00. Seniors, your cost is only $50.00 because of a senior class donation. Order forms are located by the front office. See Ms. Dodge is you have any questions.

From the Art Department: Any students wishing to collect their artwork from last semester in Miss Murphy’s classes should stop by her room today after lunch. Please be sure to double check that you have all your fantastic works as the art room must be cleared out by the end of this week to make space for current art students. Thank you!
