All Students:
From the Art Department: The second semester has begun! Any students wishing to collect their remaining artwork may stop by the art room anytime after D-Block to pick their work. (l have 6th grade passports, 7th grade drawings and 8th grade sculptures to return.) I thank everyone for letting me keep their beautiful works up on display in our hallways!
*To all new art students: A reminder that you may want to bring in an extra shirt to keep in class for those messier days!
*Important Reminder to Students and Parents:Tardy to School - Semester 2 started on Monday, January 26, 2008Students must come to school on time and prepared to learn. Students who are not seated in their classroom by 7:30 are tardy and must sign in at the main office. If a student has 4 or more excused tardies throughout the semester, professional documentation may be required by administration in order for the tardy to be excused. The first three unexcused tardies of each semester will not lead to consequences. Upon the fourth unexcused tardy in a semester, the consequences listed in the Student-Parent Handbook, page 21, will come into effect. This incudes after school office detentions and could lead to in-school suspension for chronic offenders. It is the responsibility of the student who misses work due to tardiness to school to make arrangements for work missed within 24 hours of his/her return. A grade of zero may be given to any student failing to do so.
