There is a middle school dance this Friday night, sponsored by the sixth grade from 6:30-9pm - $5 at the door. Note to parents: please, if you are willing to donate and/or purchase snacks and juice/water/soda to be sold at the dance, we would welcome any assistance you could provide! Playoff Game: Boys Basketball Georgetown vs. New Mission Home game on Saturday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $7.00 for adults. THERE ARE NO DISCOUNTS FOR BASKETBALL PARENTS/SIBLINGS! Come early, as the game will probably sell out.

DANCE CLUB TRYOUTS will be held next Monday and Tuesday, March 2 and 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Be ready to perform a 30 second choreographed routine. All candidates must attend both practices.
There will be a Mandatory Preseason Baseball meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 right after school in the café.
SPRING SPORTS SIGN-UPS are scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Coaches meetings from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., sign-ups in the café from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Forms are available on the table in front of the Main Office. Mrs. Harrington: Due: Friday—students need to complete a “Comic Strip” using characters that help to explain some of the new vocabulary terms related to weathering and erosion. Make at least 5 frames and include a minimum of 5 new terms. Please make your comic strip colorful unless black and white is part of your theme. Also due Friday is your soil from home. I realize it’s been very cold so I’m hoping with Thursday’s warmer weather you can dig up just enough so you will be able to test it for next week’s lab. Please put your name on your soil baggie.
