All Grades:
Mrs. Fulton’s 7th and 8th grade classes should be reviewing for their “Recipe Math” tests.
6th graders are beginning their study of the Food Pyramid and how it relates to them personally. In the near future, they will be keeping a 3 day food journal.
Middle School Jazz Band will run on Wednesdays after school in the band room. The first MS Jazz Band meeting/rehearsal will take place next Wednesday Oct. 22 from 2:30 to 3:30 in the band room. Contact Mr. Kaminski (kaminski@georgetown.k12.ma.us or 5790x623) with any questions.
Grade 8:

Mrs. Hickey: Quiz tomorrow on Chapter 1, section 3. Students reviewed in class and received a study guide. Ongoing assignment: Students should continue to work on their research report due next Friday, October 24th.Students received an outline for this report when it was assigned. Also, students have the opportunity pass the report in early if they want me to look it over and make corrections or suggestions prior to the due date. This is a long-term assignment, and as the outline indicates, late reports will not be accepted.
Grade 6:
Mrs Reed: return signed Restaurant Menu math project. Turn in Picture dictionaries that were due last Wednesday. If you brought home your Rent-a-Car project sheet, finish for tomorrow.
Mrs. Harrington: Due Friday: Complete the Journal section--"Your thoughts" Also, there will be a folder check (test grade).
Mrs. Lamoly: Go SOX!...Study for Vocab Lesson 3 quiz.
