Updates and Homework for 5/13:

All Students:
Dance Team performance will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10 years old. Come and support the dance team and see a fabulous show!

Today in class we did a reading assignment in which students read letters from four different students that visited Miami. They each described the city in their own way. Tonight, make up a conversation between two of the students-in which they discuss their trips to Miami. Use verbs in the PAST TENSE in your conversation. The conversation should include a minimum of 5 questions.

In Computer 8 students are using their science Velocity lab to learn more about Excel. In computers we are focusing on Excel formatting techniques and are going to look at various chart options and how you decide which chart is most appropriate.

Mrs. Harrington: Science Homework - Due: Thursday—students should rate their skills at predicting the weather from 10=Meteorologist, 8=Amateur Weatherperson, 6=Not bad—just need a little more practice, 4=ok, maybe you’d rather be doing something else, 1=consider another science career (just kidding—most meteorologist predict the wrong forecast at least half the time).

Mrs. White: Read 20 minutes and record in log. D Block-signed log and poems.
