Updates and Homework for 11/13:

All Students:
Mini Golf Tournament at GMHS this Saturday from 9-3 pm. Grab a form at the main office or stop by on Saturday to compete in this fun 18 hole mini-golf tournament. Cost is $25.00 and will go to the Georgetown PTA. Don’t miss out of this challenge! See you all there!!

Boy’s Varsity Soccer Team competes in the 3rd round of states today at 5:00pm against St. Mary’s. Come support the boy’s soccer team! Good Luck Boys!!

Tomorrow is Blue and White Day! Wear as much blue and white as you can to support the Georgetown Varsity Football team in their game against Newburyport on Friday night in Newburyport. Let’s keep our winning season going-Go Royals!!!

Announcement: Winter Sports Sign-ups (Basketball, Cheering, & Wrestling) will take place on Thursday, November 13, TONIGHT, in the Café from 6 to 7:30p.m.Also, Ski Club sign-ups this Thursday Nov. 13th 6pm-7:30 pm in the M/H School cafe. Any questions contact Sharon at mstjaa.lee@comcast.net Ski Club will run Tuesdays starting Jan. 6th for 6 weeks.

Mrs. Reed: Practice and Reteach 4-3 all

Mrs. Rydbeck: A Block- Practice 3-5 #1-4; E Block- Practice4-3 # 1-2; F and G Blocks- Practice 4-3 mixed # 21-25.

Mrs. Bailey: Test on Lesson 7&8 in spelling/vocabulary tomorrow. Remember your derivatives and parts of speech!!!! Use flashcards and pretest to study necessary material.
Don’t forget the book report due December 1st, and the Persuasive Essay due November 25th!!!!!

Builder’s Club is collecting canned goods for Emmaus House in Haverhill for Thanksgiving dinners. We are trying to put together as many as possible ….ask your student all about it!

Grade 7:
Mrs. Weldon: All Classes: Reading Grid for mystery book, due tomorrow.

Schauerman: SCIENCE- Biogeography worksheet. MATH-B- Block - Practice 3-9 worksheet # 1-10 all, 11-19 odd, 25 - 30 all; E-Block - Practice 3 - 9 worksheet # 1-19 odd, 25-30 all.

DiFruscio/Morrison Social Studies: Study for part 2 of test to be given TOMORROW.
STUDY HINTS FOR KEY CONCEPTS:
KC# 1- use notes from C2S2 guided reading (especially chart on back)
KC# 2A- c2s1 guided reading and in class notes on division of dynasties
KC# 3- use in class chart/notes from 11/5-7 as a summary to study
KC# 4- use pyramid chart from C2S1 guided reading
KC# 5- Chart/notes from C2S1 guided reading
KC# 6- use notes from class dated 10/6 or 7.

Mrs. Morrison: A –Grammar Sheet – Pronouns and Antecedents – both sides – Myths, Legends, and Fairytales, and Folktales - Get a mystery book; B – finish the QAR sheet –Question/Answer Relationship Just write the type of question and think about how you would answer the question. You will write out the answers tomorrow in class; E and F – study for Key concept Test.

Mrs. Hickey’s classes: There is no homework tonight. Students took a quiz on photosynthesis today. It will probably be returned to them on Monday.
