Updates and Homework for 6/5:

Grade 8:

Finals:
Math final: June 10th and 11th
English final: June 10th and 11th
History: June 16 and 17th
Science: June 16th and 17th
Field Trips:
New York June 12th (arrival at school 5:30a.m)
Cedardale June 17th (during school cost is $15 please send in a check made out to GMHS)
Graduation:
June 22 (3:30 to 5:30)

Mrs. Rydbeck: All classes: No homework. Remember: final exam next week, use the study guide and study for the final.

Mrs. Girard: # 2,3,4,5 page 197

Mongeau: No homework

Ms. Bailey: Students should be finishing their book report books and finalizing their Mobile projects which are due on Wednesday the 10th.

Mrs. Sheridan: ALL BLOCKS: 1. Complete and TYPE your final research report if you did not finish it today in the computer lab. Compare with the scoring guide/rubric.
2. On Monday, you must have your COMPLETED, TYPED research report AND blank
poster board. You will have class time to add visuals and complete your poster. The Alternative Energy Poster Session is on Tuesday, June 9th.

Grade 7:
DIFRUSCIO: Grade 7 Olympics will be held on Tuesday June16th. Parents are invited o attend our afternoon session beginning at 12:30 pm. We are also asking for donations to help us serve a brief reception to celebrate the hard work of our students. Please contact Deb DiFruscio if you are interested, via email or by filling out the form your child brings home today. Thanks!

Mrs. Husak: No Homework, enjoy the weekend. Cumulative tests will be given the week of June 15th.

Mrs. Hickey-
Assigned yesterday- Students have 3 questions to answer about their animal or biome project for Monday

Grade 6:
Mrs. Fulton’s 6th grade: Any student who has not completed “My Nutritional Guide to Good Health,” should complete the package at home and turn in as soon as possible. We have devoted much class time to this project, and it will have a significant impact on grades for 4th quarter.

Mrs. Carminito: A Block: project due June 15

Mrs. Lamoly: Work on project…due date has been extended due to HS mcas in library and assembly yesterday

Ms. Harrington: Due: next Thursday—complete the information on the worksheet, “Our Solar System.” Students need to record a minimum of one planet per day. Also, please bring in a small box (preferably a shoe box) for the “Solar System Diorama” (this is an in-school project). I will have many supplies available, but students may want to consider bringing in some of their own items since supplies are limited.

Mrs. White: Read 20 minutes and record in log. F Block, signed log and god/goddess worksheet.
