Grade 6:
Mrs. Lamoly: A, D, E and G blocks can work on Story Project. Click on this link for the project description: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dcv3xfns_36d94d3qdc
Students will be required to create a “Story Poster” for the story they have been reading. Some are working independently while others are working in pairs or groups of three. The poster board and/or supplies should be kept in Mrs. Lamoly’s room so that it is available to work on during given class times. Anyone who would like to work on project outside of school may do so and add items to project as necessary. (This cuts down on situations with partner absences, dismissals, etc.) The project should be designed with creativity and mixed media materials that can include ribbon, wallpaper, cotton, pipe cleaners, stickers, glitter, etc. Each component of the poster will have a due date for a final copy, as to help with the organization of the project.
F block has not finished book yet…they’ll start next week.

Mrs. Reed: return signed progress reports and field trip money.

Ms. Harrington: Science Homework
Due: “Moon Log” for Monday. Students are exploring the phases of the moon during our week-long moon walk but I’m asking them to continue to view the full lunar cycle during our final days. Bring in a shoe box for our diorama!

Mrs. White: Read 20 minutes and record in log. F block signed log and worksheet.
