Updates and Homework for 4/15:

All Students:
Attention parents: I am looking for a couple of parent volunteers (two to be exact) to contribute to a committee that will review/give feedback on the current Middle School Student/Parent Handbook. Middle School Jazz Band is cancelled again this week. We will rehearse again on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the week after vacation (4/27,28,&29). Grade 8:
Mongeau: Preamble project live performances due tomorrow, video performances due Friday!

Mrs. Girard: Split sheet for vocabulario chapter 9 section 1.

Mrs. Reed: Study for Ch 9 test tomorrow. Work on odd problems in book and check answers. Vocabulary due tomorrow. Bring green formula sheets and calculator for test. Friday, Ch 9 project due.

Grade 7:
Mrs. Morrison: A – Voc. assignments are due tomorrow – Reading grid for chapters 5 and 6
B – voc. assignments are due tomorrow – finish class work – questions for chapters 6 and 7
E and F – Study for Voc. Quest for Ch. 8 Sections 1 and 2. Reread Ch. 8 Sections 1 and 2.

SCHAUERMAN: SCIENCE - Test tomorrow on Arthropods!! Use your study guide to review!!
MATH - Quiz on Sections 7-1 & 7-2 tomorrow. B-block - Complete the Cryptic Quiz worksheet. E-block - Complete the 7-2 worksheet.

Mrs. Husak: A- worksheet side 119 and side 120 – Quiz Friday on sections 7.1-7.3 – study guide/notes have been issued to students for the vocabulary. B- page 554 # 2-12 even – some students need to have their quizzes that were taken yesterday signed and returned tomorrow –some students still need to have their parents sign and return their term 3 grade sheets that were completed last week. E – page 554 # 1-9 all except # 3 – quizzes will be handed back tomorrow. F – worksheet side 119 and side 120 – Quiz Tomorrow on 7.1-7.3 – some students still need to have their parents sign and return their term 3 grade sheets that were completed last week.

Mrs. Weldon: All Classes: Vocabulary Lesson 24- Exercises and note cards due tomorrow, test on Friday. Final draft Biographical Sketch due tomorrow. Grammar: pp. 290 and 292
A-Block: Reading Grid—Chapter 8 Briar Rose
F-Block: The Island on Bird Street : Summarize Chapter 3
B-Block: The Island on Bird Street : Summarize Chapters 6, 7, and 8 together

Mrs. Hickey- All Classes: Students in F and E blocks need to complete Questions 1,2,3,4 and 5 on the Analyze and Conclude for the Cricket Lab. We went over the questions in class, as well as what papers are needed to turn in a complete lab report. In A and B blocks, most students need to complete only questions 5 and 6. A and B blocks will have labs collected at the beginning of class. E and F blocks will have time to do question 6 before it is collected in class.

Mrs. Girard: Quiz tomorrow on classroom objects, so study! Also, Sing your alphabet song at least 5 times for practice.

Ms. DiFruscio: ALL BLOCKS: CONTINUE TO STUDY FOR THE VOCAB QUEST WE ARE HAVING TOMORROW (CHAPTER 8 SECTIONS 1 & 2: 24 WORDS (23 REALLY, I WAS COUNTING REMUS & ROMULUS TWICE!)

Grade 6:
Mrs. Lamoly: 5 Lesson 10 vocab sentences

Mrs. Reed: Turn in Picture Dictionaries if you have not done so already.

White: Read 20 minutes and record in log; D Block signed log, paragraph and illustration.
